North Wildwood - Gov. Murphy says New Jersey is seeing the impact of rising seas and a warming planet. Why is any municipality still allowing building of any kind, especially on barrier islands? This will only cause more expense down the road when we have to pay for dunes, then walls around the islands, and eventually, if climatologists are correct, homeowner buyouts when these areas flood completely and permanently. We should be encouraging people to leave, not build more.
