Do you know how the Gas Tax is raised in New Jersey ?

North Wildwood - Do you know how the Gas Tax is raised in New Jersey ? It is raised by the use or consumption, So the less it is used the higher the tax . Now the folks from out of state, especially the truckers ,are by passing the state and buy fuel in Delaware or Virginia where the prices are lower ,This Gas Tax was raised last by a Republican. If the state would change the law and lower the Tax more fuel would be sold and the Tax Income would get more into the coffers.
