North Wildwood - Are they being taught self-defense tactics at the police academy? From high school wrestling alone there are many methods of restraint other than striking a 100-pound woman with a man's fists, and of course, military training offers even more abilities of restraint. Simple grappling techniques could be used. There are many great men and women in uniform in our county, towns, state, and country. What this officer did is embarrassing and should never be tolerated. I truly hope that's not who we are as a community.
