North Wildwood - For all those who ask me hundreds of times during the season “teach me to bartend,” it’s not cooking and it’s not a learned craft. It’s all about attitude, longevity, experience, and loyalty. Sure, we make it look easy because we have the experience. They just see it as fun and money. It involves dealing with difficult situations, being quick witted, and very long nights cleaning, stocking, and preparing for the next shift. Trust is very highly regarded. Do we trust them to handle money? My shifts are 14 - 17 hours during the summer. I wish I could have their life. Stop asking for me.
