North Wildwood - A 1952 antique Coast Guard lifeboat is not a structure, it is a vessel. A structure is permanently attached to land, unlike a lifeboat which does not qualify for a $150,000 restoration to be paid for with Cape May County open space funds. There are many federal grants and non-profit foundations grants for this type of restoration for museum items. The audacity of some people who do not have the resourceful knowledge to obtain proper funding always come to the county freeholders with their hands out and it's insulting. This should not be approved.
