What I would like to see as an early action in the new mayor's term and if he has the best interests of the taxpayers of NW is as followed:1) Use executive power to revoke benefits for council and himself as this is a part-time job. Do they even contribute to their benefit package? Can't get an answer on that one? Second and last, reduce his salary which is in the ballpark of 45K to 48K to only $1,000 more than your highest-paid council member which is around $12,500. Lets do this job for the love and passion and not the money.
