Spouters against beach replenishment say its too expensive, nature will take back sand etc. It's really no different from maintaining any other source of revenue. The beach is a major attraction, maybe the biggest. No beach, no tourists, no income. It's really just the cost of business, Something a beach town needs is a beach.
