What doesn't make sense is having a maintenance man on the beach patrol payroll, not a lifeguard, who works months before the season begins and months after the season ends to increase his pension. The unique fact that this person is paid well and politically connected is identical to the AC lifeguards who worked through the winter to increase their pensions before retirement. Years later, AC taxpayers can no longer afford to pay for their lifeguard pension because of their mayor's mistake. North Wildwood taxpayers beware!
