Reading online FB posts from 2nd homeowners especially in the Wildwoods complaining about increase in taxes, sewer/water rates and parking fees as well as the amount of new construction and lack of tax abatements is comical. You created the demand, bought a 2nd home, pushed values up, created more need for parking, beach cleaning, trash tipping fees and now you are angry that you have to pay more. What about the year round residents who can't afford to live here anymore? Tax abatements aren't free.
