North Wildwood / Philadelphia - To a North Wildwood spouter stating that the United States has 92 million unemployed workers: I went to the government figures and here are the numbers. Americans under 18 and over 65 is around 39 percent of the population, so I'm rounding up to make the math easier to 40 percent. The population is around 310 million. These numbers are an estimate in 2013. So, if 92 million Americans are unemployed and you have the labor force between the ages of 18 and 65 standing at 180 million, then the effective unemployment rate is around 50 percent. Just do the math!
