With the perception that ObamaCare guard rails to protect Patients will be coming down under Republicans, the insurance ram jobs are just starting. IBX / Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance will no longer pay for the full duration of anesthesia during surgery if the time the surgery runs longer than the insurance company expected with a new policy "to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the use of anesthesia". Tuff luck for individual patient having procedure complexityrequiring additional time due to medical conditions or complications. They can pay for it themselvers.
