The new homeowner in Anglesea is spot on about builders and building code officials. If you look around at the latest cookie cutter units being erected throughout NW, it's plain to see that out-of-town developers are once again making the rules for city construction officers. It wasn't too long ago that the island-wide construction office was dismantled due to corruption. Are we heading down that path again? Are city officials being paid to look the other way?
