The name change for North Wildwood will cost in excess of $1 million was word for word from our past mayor, Aldo Palumbo. Please keep in mind, at that time, the state and parkway authority was going to bill the town for all sign changes along most roadways which is very expensive. The figure also included the cost of labor at the prevailing NJ wage with a minimum cost per sign. This research usually takes several months to fully vet out the cost estimates and the town should speak to other towns who have changed their name.
