Is Kevin McCarthy fit to take control of the House of Representatives? If ignoring a subpoena from your peers is OK, then sure. But what about when the House issues subpoena's under his leadership. Would it be ok for members of Congress to ignore? I think not. If he had nothing to hide, why didn't he cooperate?
