If the renovations being done at the rectory for Notre Dame de la Mer are being paid for by a donation then it is no one's business. If they're being paid for by the parish, then it most certainly is the parishioners' business. It is also their business to be aware of and question why a parish administrator is being paid $75,000, yet needs to be sent to school, and the music director's salary is $70,000 which is unheard of in this small community. There was nothing wrong with the music in the past, it was beautiful. Isn't the pastor's job to be parish administrator?
