I will most likely return to a restaurant if they provide free WiFi and the food is decent. In this day and age of technology, this is what the customer wants and one must remember, restaurants cater to the customers, so kudos to those restaurants. Also, if one stays longer at a bar and restaurant because they are playing via a WiFi connection, there is the possibility they may purchase another beer or food item, which is what the restaurant owners want.
