I think it's pretty obvious that a drop in AC Expressway toll revenues is expected after four casinos closed last year. Considering the Expressway has already been paid for 10 times over, maybe the Expressway commissioners need to stop wasting toll revenue on bells and whistle items and start cutting cost. And if Rt. 55 is ever completed, more revenue will be lost. I think it's time to merge the AC Expressway into the NJ Turnpike Authority just like they did with the Parkway authority. C'mon Gov. Christie, reduce cost and remove cronies now!
