North Wildwood

I live very close to the Beach. I used to be able to hear the waves crash as i slept or conducted my days. I felt lucky to live in such a magical place. I still do. As i refer to myself a year round resident not labelled or stereotypically called “Local”; i was also, dumbfounded as to accept the off-season noise of dump-trucks, back and forth, back and forth beep, beep, beep. That noise drove me insane. After everyone has left now; sounds of silence came back. Now, the drilling of the bulkhead. The ground shakes, the noise, it sucks. Again, i am reminded of “Progression”. Change………..
