I had someone cross the street, mid-block, talking on her phone, oblivious. She walked right out in front of me and when I beeped, yelled at me that by law needed to stop. 1. No, j-walking is illegal. Cars need to stop for people IN A CROSSWALK. 2. Pay attention because another person in a car might be just as oblivious and run you over. Look both ways before you step out, make eye contact, and, oh yeah, know the law.
