I commend the work of the NW fire department but I find the "Local NW Rule" that a ladder truck needs to accompany the NW fire department ambulance on all calls a bit over the top. I checked with my local fire chief in central NJ, and he commented that it's probably a small town and they can create their own local protocol for all calls. Does anyone else think this is over the top for an ambulance call?
