I commend the new water patrols keeping the swimmers and surfers safe in North Wildwood. An article in a local paper explains the daytime coordination between the NW Police, the State Police Marine Unit and the NW Fire Department. I wonder what happened to the NWBP wave runner and remember they always life guarded the swimmers from the water all weekend long? Did they eliminate this aspect from the beach patrol budget just to hire extra lifeguard headquarters maintenance workers?
