The death of poor unfortunate women who were likely victims of human trafficking in one form or another is getting turned into a political football that completely misses the point of this problem. Americans are great in identifying any transgression as “racism,” whether true or not. Who cares what if these women were Asians? We can find thousands who are Eastern European or Latin American living the same nightmare. The race of these victims is a careful deflection from attacking the problem of human sex trafficking.
