Champ here…As a year-round resident in NWW and an advanced cyclist,(Olympic contender and 30th Nationally BMX 1984). I am appalled by the multiple drivers that don’t get stopped for speeding, no signal on turns or full stops at signs or lights. Then, an officer recently stopped me because I was riding on the sidewalk into traffic. I ride on sidewalks because I don’t trust drivers. I highly respect NWWPD, yet, stopping bikes? I can ride the Boards, the bike trail which includes sidewalks from Anglesea to the crest. I ride everywhere. I love riding and this island. I love where I live…..
