Can someone explain to me how the north beach replenishment project with Wildwood will cost the NW taxpayers $250,000 when the mayor is touting that the entire project will be done in-house with city employees? Aren't the city employees salary employees, and if so, where is the cost coming from, unless Wildwood is charging us for the sand? Details on this project would be greatly appreciated, since the local newspaper is vague on details.
