Can anyone confirm that the Humvee vehicles at the NW police department were acquired for free from the dept. of defense as excess military equipment? I remember a military truck in the 1980's that sat at the civil defense hall in case of flooding. The truck was used to carry 20 people to safety at one time, during a flood.
