What is the law for drinking on the beach in North Wildwood?

According to City Clerk Scott Jett, it is illegal. Jett points to City Code Chapter 138-3 which states, "The actions and activities set forth below shall be unlawful conduct when taken place during the months of May through September, inclusive, each year ... G. To consume alcoholic beverages within the areas defined as the beach, Boardwalk and approaches thereto."
