North Cape May/Wyomissing, PA - Thank you for publishing my previous spoutoff regarding speed bumps on Lafayette Street and the editorial response. But I didn't make my point clearly enough. I wasn't commenting excessive speed was the issue in that fatality, but rather that those several blocks of Lafayette, and others, have a heavy vehicle and pedestrian interaction. The close proximity of the two with each other on street and sidewalk creates a hazard at any time inattention by either occurs. My point: slower moving traffic could help reduce any sort of serious accident from happening. Slow down, pay attention, stay safe.
