Why is it that when I call a business, a recording usually tells

North Cape May - Why is it that when I call a business, a recording usually tells me to listen carefully "because our menu has recently changed?" Why do they need to keep changing their menu, and why do I always seem to call at a time of "unusually high call volumes?" Is there any chance that the call volumes are not that unusual, and could be met by hiring a few more people who could use the money and prevent me from wasting my time on hold?
