Why can't entries into local parades be judged either before par

North Cape May - Why can't entries into local parades be judged either before parades begin, or after they end? This would allow for the parade to roll on, making it a much more enjoyable experience for those lining the streets to watch, as well as the entries, I'm sure. Who wants to sit and wait, and move 10 feet and wait some more. The numerous 10 plus minute breaks in the parade are ridiculous for all. Otherwise, they should be called talent shows.
