North Cape May - Whether one is for or against the new walkway along the bay, there is one thing that is certain, that the new walkway has brought into the area more people who are renting the many homes in a once quiet residential area. With more people from the outside, there will be a need for more work by our various township departments. I feel that the taxpayers should not be burdened by the additional cost, but instead those who rent their homes. A hotel-type tax that is incurred on the islands should be imposed by the township. This would be fair and equitable for those who are impacted by change.
