North Cape May - The recent op-ed that calls for building a bridge across the Delaware is a TERRIBLE idea. Any benefit of alternative economic development would be greatly outweighed by the environmental damage that would be done to one of the great natural places left on the east coast. There is already overdevelopment occurring, we don't need a giant bridge and highway and millions of additional cars. Part of the charm of the area is that it isn't easy to get to, if we lose that we become just another strip mall along the interstate. New ferries, yes, giant bridge, no thank you.
