North Cape May - RE: The Town Bank comment on the large trees that are disappearing in the area. Yes, there is a blight killing the large maple trees. We had an arborist look at our trees and he did recommend feeding the trees to possibly save them, but there is no guarantee they will survive. He also said to plant new trees now to replace the existing trees. There is an excellent nursery in Erma that can help you with the mixtures for feeding the trees. Good luck.
