North Cape May - RE: The recent permanent resident of North Cape May and your comment on how tailgating is so out of control in our area and that the police don't do anything about it. How I deal with these lawbreakers is simple. I drive an older truck with a big, wide rear bumper. When a tailgater gets too close, I simply apply my brakes and the offender promptly backs off. Surely, I am not innocent in this situation either and it certainly isn't a cure all, but the offender quickly gets the message. Yes, the police need to do something because it is a big issue everywhere. Welcome to N. Cape May.
