North Cape May - Re: the people I spotted Dec. 3 cutting down trees/shrubs on Shore Rd. dunes, is their unobstructed view really more important than the safety of their neighbors? Trees and grasses are an essential part of a protective dune barrier. Without them, all we have is a pile of blowing sand, or worse, flooded homes during a major weather event.
