North Cape May - Re: Lower Township spout about the trash and cigarette butts at Douglass Park in North Cape May. Many residents, including myself that walk to the park carry trash bags and wear gloves to pick up the trash and bottles left along the roadway to the park. The Township employees that empty the large trash and re-cycle cans also take the time to pick up loose trash as well. To the thoughtless individuals that toss their trash along the road and parking lot, shame on you. If I see this happening, I will be the first to call the police and press charges for littering.
