North Cape May - People are interested in gathering support opposing the Beach Drive project for admittedly selfish reasons. They simply do not want to see an influx of residents and visitors into the area, whereby their piece of paradise may be compromised by having to share their open space. They throw the cost in our face and predict higher taxes for the average homeowner, which by opposing this project, is a possibility if the Open Space money is withheld. But what would the lawsuit yield when some kid or adult, exits the beach via beach access path, enters directly onto the street and is hit by a car?
