North Cape May - Our national debt is over $22 trillion. Why does the U.S. continue to spend money we do not have? Will there be a sad day of reckoning for this debt? What will that look like for us? You and I can't spend money we do not have. I have one credit card. It has a credit limit. The limit is based on the amount I will be able to pay back. Why can’t those in Washington, of both parties, apply this simple logic to our excessive spending? I realize that the national debt is a complex issue, but let’s fix it. As Americans, we can and must.
