North Cape May - Our elected officials in Lower constantly cited safety as the reason for the sidewalk project. If safety is truly the issue why wasn't the area north of Emerson the target area? It is the narrowest and most dangerous section of Beach Drive and it does not have a sidewalk. It also has the greatest problem with the road caving so if the goal was instead to get "our share" of open space money like other communities a sidewalk north of Emerson, a repaired road and enhanced or enlarged dunes would have been a much more logical project. Why is everything directed toward Lincoln and we are ignored?
