North Cape May - A new Tesla battery will cost you about $20,000! A Toyota Prius is any where between $8,000 and $15,000 depending on manufacturer. Go look at electric power tools such as drills, the Battery cost as much as the tool does. Are you going to be willing to spend that much on a car battery when the time comes? Most people live day to day and week to week. I don't have $800 let alone $8,000 for a car battery. All you people who are screaming "GO GREEN" must be loaded with $$$$$ I can just about get by now because of the in the White House and you want me to buy a Tesla?
