North Cape May - My mother is an addict. She is trying to get treatment after so many relapses. The last one almost killed her. She is broke and almost homeless and I refuse to take her in my home because I know what she is capable of doing. I have been told I'm a terrible daughter for not caring for my mother in her older stage of life. No, I took care of her when I was a child and she should have been caring for me. Why don't we have more support groups in Cape May County for the children of addicts? In my opinion, Cape Counseling is not equipped for the number of people who need psychiatrist help.
