North Cape May - My daughter is in the 8th grade and we received a letter June 11 letting us know that she would be receiving an award at the school's award ceremony June 13. I work nights and was unable to get the night off with only two days notice. It's a shame that the school district doesn't have more consideration for parents than to give them 48 hours notice for important school events.
