North Cape May - Lower Township needs to stop their police department from accepting gifts. Every day, Lower Twp. police officers pull into a certain fast food restaurant and eat for free. This needs to stop. These guys make big money and beg for free food? This is crazy! How can a cop making $100,000 dollars a year from taxpayers take free food every day? Even retired cops pull in and flash the badge for a free meal. How can you live with yourselves? People are starving and suffering out there! Council needs to stop this practice now! They get enough compensation!

Moderator's Note:
According to Lower Township Manager Michael Voll, police officers are forbidden to accept gifts, same as any public official. You can call the township manager or the chief of police to report this confidentially.
