Judge Littlefield ruled against Township Solicitor Stefankiewicz

North Cape May - Judge Littlefield ruled against Township Solicitor Stefankiewicz's opinion regarding a substantial change in the beach ordinance prior to first and second reading. The lawsuit was brought by a resident because the ordinance is controversial and many people wanted further discussion and input before implementation; which was ignored by council. Since the judge ruled against implementation of this ordinance and an injunction is in place for 120 days, which is past the summer season, it is hoped our council will take their time over the winter and work on a new beach ordinance for next season.
