Is it really necessary to mow your sod every other day?

North Cape May - Is it really necessary to mow your sod every other day? If so could you please not do it at 8 p.m. or later? I have young children that are trying to sleep and I would appreciate not listening to your mower, weed wacker, and lastly your leaf blower at dusk. All I ask is you please be courteous and do it at a reasonable time of day. I don't even care that you blow your grass in the street toward my yard. I'm not the property police and I mind my own business, unlike some neighbors.
