North Cape May - I was food shopping in North Cape May July 3, ready to pay with my new debit card when the cashier stated it didn't take. I forgot to activate the card in the time allowed. I was so embarrassed. I was going to go to my bank, leaving my full cart in the lobby, when the man behind me told the cashier he would pay for my groceries. I said no but he and his wife insisted. I asked for his name and address so I could send a check to them, but they said no. I wanted to say thank you and let them both know I paid it forward. I sent two checks to two different organizations.
