North Cape May - I was alerted by a friend that a sex offender was residing across the street from me about five years ago. I called the local police and they said they didn't have to notify me. I told them I had young children walking passed that house. They told me it was the prosecutor's call. This sex offender was recently arrested. Residents should be notified if a sex offender is living in the area.
