North Cape May - I thought about applying for a job opening in the Lower Township finance office, but then realized I was delusional in thinking that I had any chance of being hired. I do not have the proper connections nor am I related to anyone who works there. By law, these job openings must be advertised, but they never actually hire someone from outside the inner circle. All the experience in the world counts for nothing. Shameful practice that goes on all over.
