North Cape May - I read recently about a town in Iceland that was having a pedestrian safety problem on one of its roads. What was their solution? They painted 3D zebra crosswalks on the road to create a visual optical illusion of raised bars on the road in front of motorists, compelling them to come to a very slow speed. Problem solved, and at a cost of a few gallons of paint.
