North Cape May - I found out that kids have no sense of time if they have ADHD or ADD. I've been punishing my child when he doesn't come home on time. Also when I tell him to shut off his TV in 15 minutes, etc. and he doesn't, he gets punished. I feel so bad that he's been getting punished for no reason. There are so many more things about ADHD and other mental illnesses that doctors haven't informed parents about. Punishing and grounding kids with these mental issues serves no useful solution. The good thing about kids with these illnesses is that they speak the truth.
