North Cape May - I am a business owner on Bayshore Rd., and have read many spouts about people coming to our free beaches, free parking, etc., and then leaving the beach with their family to the island communities. As a business person, I have to agree. I, like other business owners pay taxes to our community, and our rates are far below what the islands get. We don't get the people to frequent our establishments, but they are more than willing to use our L.T. services. We feel that our product is good, reasonable and we advertise. Council should be attentive to taxpayers and businesses alike.
